joellamarano: I know we all like to joke about Leo being snubbed by the Oscars, because he doesn’t deserve to be snubbed and at the same time it’s sorta funny. But can we take a moment to realize Ewan McGregor has never been nominated for an Oscar. This year his co-star Naomi Watts was nominated for Best Actress in a leading role for their film The Impossible. [Which from what I could tell was the films only nomination.] The man has starred in over 50 films flawlessly playing every role from lowlife [Trainspotting] to lovers [Moulin Rouge] to a Camerlengo [Angels and Demons] to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Yet the Academy doesn’t even think he deserves an invite. Amazing.
